Claude Germain

Claude Germain is the Founder and Managing Partner of Rouge River Capital Holdings (since 2009). Mr. Germain is a business owner, using his own capital to acquire controlling interests in mid-market companies, and controls a diversified portfolio of strong operating businesses generating over $500 million in revenues. Mr. Germain has extensive governance experience in both private and public firms, and non-profit organizations. Mr. Germain serves on the Boards of Triton International (NYSE: TRTN), The Canada Post Corporation, SCI Group, Fleet Complete, as well as a number of other private firms controlled by Rouge River. Prior to Rouge River, Mr. Germain served as President and CEO of large transportation related businesses. Mr. Germain started his career as a management consultant for The Boston Consulting Group. Mr. Germain holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering Physics (Nuclear) from Queen’s University. Mr. Germain lives in Oakville with his wife and 5 children.

As the founder and driving force of Putman Investments, a family-owned holding company, Doug Putman’s passion and transformative thinking shapes his approach to revitalizing businesses in a variety of sectors, including retail, manufacturing and hospitality.
